School Daze

Yup...they did it, made it through their first week of school.  Rode the bus together, met new teachers and friends, came home starving and exhausted.  And I quote..."2nd Grade is hard", and "Kindergarten is a LOT of work."   It's gonna be a fun year!

Summer Fun

We are doing our best to pack in the fun this summer...mixing up our days and weeks with camps, friends, books and swimming.  Checked off the bucket list already are bubble gum bubble blowing, go-kart racing, karate, and fishing.  Lots more to come for these bubbly brothers!

"No School"

As much as Van and Zak really do love school and their friends, they were both genuinely excited for the summer to begin.  They are slowly starting to grasp the concept of the calendar and time passage and the anticipation of new adventures.  Van can take it as it comes and Zak likes to have a plan so summer will be a nice mix.  So far, we've already seen the inside of an ambulance with a pinata/tree branch head cut incident, captured crawfish and frog critter friends, consumed our weight in Krispy Kreme donuts, played hours and hours of baseball and celebrated school days endings.  What's next?

Truly...and now all they talk about is when can we go back...best vacation EVER!

First Grade field trip and first solo bike ride...and they couldn't be happier.

Party Weekend!

Celebrating seven and Easter in the same weekend makes for some happy, sugar-filled fun times.  These guys rock a party in a truck and with a basket...certainly doesn't get much better than this!

The busy boys

We are finding it harder and harder to keep up our blogging with sports, school, and the active social life of the brothers.  Lots of fun stuff and not enough pictures.
