Van had a blast visiting with friends and family in the DC area...lots of cute girls to play with and lots of swingin' fun. The baptism of my cutie pie godson Henry made for an awesome visit, birthday, baptism fun weekend!
This has been Van's constant question as we make our daily visit to Beepa who had a stroke on Memorial Day. He is recovering in a nearby rehab facility so Van is able to visit and play and entertain him with 4 year old antics. We haven't caused too much trouble...yet...and the lively loud little feet running the hallways of a rehab center seem to be bringing a bit of a smile to everyone there. We miss seeing Beepa up and about but every day Van pushes his wheelchair and plays on his hospital bed and encourages him to get better soon so we can go home and play. Here's Beepa as mystery reader right before school ended. Get well soon!!
Do you think he enjoyed it? I'll say....teachers and buddies will surely be missed but next year it's upstairs to the Big Classroom and man is he excited about that. Happy Summer Vacation!!
What could be better than celebrating our 2 year anniversary of Gotcha Day and sending off our LOA (letter of acceptance) to China to bring Zak home this summer!! Proud big brother does the honors... Happy Gotcha Day to one special boy.
How lucky we are to have been guests at the San Francisco Dream Wedding Event for Scott's cousin Vanessa and her handsome groom, Mike! Van's first wedding which he proclaimed to be "the best party ever!" He has been asking every hour since we've been home to see the photos of him dancing with Vanessa...his first true crush and she couldn't be more beautiful!! Lots more San Fran pix to come...
Welcome to our family blog. We were so happy to create this blog for our journey to bring Van home. Now we are thrilled to be adding Zak to our family and sharing our growing family adventures with all of you.
