Home...never happier to see it!
Fabulous friends gave us a warm welcome home with signs and ballons and a freezer full of food...couldn't ask for a better homecoming after our great stay at the Grandparents house. Van was living the life of a rock star there already!

We are slowly adjusting our internal clocks and sleep schedule but it's going really well so far. The cats are actually taking a very active role in the transition and Van just loves them already.
We are just enjoying every new find like grass, and sand, (thanks to the awesome new sandbox that our neighbors built for Van while we were gone!) and toys and Van's new room. Here's the photo fun moments to date. We will try to keep em coming as we continue to explore this new USA place. Thanks again to all of you for joining us on the journey. I cannot tell you how incredible it was to have you with us...I know Van feels the love of so many already.

Yay! Finally pics from home! I've been very anxious to hear about the homecoming and see the pics. He looks so happy at home, and I'm sure you guys are glad to be back in familiar space. And, really, just to have SPACE. I can only imagine how cramped that hotel room felt after 2 weeks. Anyway, glad to hear you've had a great transition so far. And that you have amazing friends you have made it very easy for you. I hope everything continues to go well. I hope you both got some extra maternity/paternity leave time so you can be at home with him for awhile.
Smoochies!
Tooooooo cute! I CAN'T WAIT to meet my lil nephew....just too too too exciting!
Eeeeeeeeee ha! Welcome home, Malkie Family! While you get your home base bond on, know we are SOOOO thinking of you and eagerly await the "coast is clear, bring it on" call...
BUT, TAKE YOUR TIME!!!! This is precious, precious time that you all have fought for and deserve so very greatly. We'll see you when you're all ready, and as Mr. Lage says, "Know we care enough not to come!"
Love you guys so! (That Kroger car is a joybringer, ain't it?!?!)
Yay! Yippee!! What another great, happy post!
Van looks so adorable in the USA! Tracey - are you a 24 hour parking spot for Van? I LOVE seeing him sitting on top of you!
I'm with the Lage's - lovin' ya enuf to stay away, but ready to pounce....um, play, whenever you're ready! (But take your time, you'll never have a chance to have Van all to yourself again!)
Hay Malkie Family,
Scott is that the same Kermit the frog I made for you when you were two!!! I was thrilled to see it in Van's room. I love the frog theme. It took me back to when you were little. We are so happy you are home and can't wait until we can have a family get together. Love Aunt Ruthie
Hey Malkie clan,
Welcome home!
Hoping for a good first American Virginia summer.
btw-I ride in the same cart when at Wal-Mart.

Way to go guys. Giving a kid (especially one so cute) a great new life is a tremendous gift. One that I am sure he will return in spades.
Welcome to the adventure. I can't think of two people more perfect to join.
Congrats,
Dee and Sue
