The Preschool director told me today that she and Van spent some quality time together in her office working on next year's budget. Great...hopefully he learned how to make his money go a long way. Apparently he's a bit stressed out about the holidays like the rest of us. She said it's typical since his brain is going at warp speed on language development and the excitement of the holiday season. Just needed to document what I hope is a one and only visit...

Like you, I had similar hopes...only to have them dashed...in preschool. (Darren succumbed to an "I dare you to lick the babydoll's booty" request.) Perhaps---just perhaps---it's a rite of passage. (At least that's the angle I'm taking...you can go along if you wish!)
