Out and about ...

Out for a walk!

Getting ready to go to the pool. Sandals are a bit too big but we're still enthusiastic about putting them on....
The "pool" at the Victory isn't really much to see. It's actually not much at all. Hey, the astroturf is nice though! Of course, it's been raining so much here that a crappy pool is really not that big of a deal... (Don't think Van likes the water much yet, anyway)
This is a sunny day in Guangzhou. Repeat: Sunny. Yes, that's the railing from the 9th floor rooftop pool. If any General Contractors or Electrical Engineers are sitting around in the US unemployed - my goodness is there plenty of work to be done here...

Anyway, T and V are napping quite nicely now (circa 1am EST, 1pm here) and I'm going to try and inject some normalcy into my schedule by just surfing the Internet (for the first time in a week or so) - oh, and if anyone out there knows a good US-based HTTP proxy server (right now I'm using both www.anonymouse.org and www.web2proxy.net but both are hosted outside the US and are super sloooow) please let me know via the email (s.malkie at gmail dot com). Lots of my normal sites are on the 'oh no you can't go there' list ...

All in all, things are going well. Only a week to go until we get to be home!
