Culture Club

So we just had our first 'cultural orientation' meeting with Sharon from OCDF. They're the ones coordinating all of our in-country travel and touring, and so far, it's been great. They gave us an unexpectedly very cool gift of a 'chop' stamp with Van's chinese name:

We're off to lunch now with the other family and Sharon to some tasty local eateries...
More to come later.

Wow, very cool! You guys act like you're seasoned bloggers, too! We're off for vacation tomorrow, so if you don't notice my comments, I'll still be with you. Any computer I can get to...I'm there!

We're so glad that you are there, safe and seeing the sights until you see the most beautiful sight of all, Van's sweet face. We love you and can't wait until you're all together and home.
Hugs, Christina, Dad and Claire

can't wait to hear the offerings at the local eateries -- I think that's when the Tinsley blogs took an unexpected turn :-)

Glad you all are having a good time! Van and I must compare chops sometime, I have one from like 35 years ago....

Oh Tracey, this is such fun!
Thank you for giving us vicarious access to your experience...

What a gorgeous presentation that chop is! Can hardly wait to hear the tales of food and fun...and of course Van meeting!

You were in our thoughts and hearts last night at Book Club...think you have what has to be the best "not-in-attendance" excuse ever!

Love you guys!
